Accreditation ISO/IEC 17043:2010
Since 25 April 2012 the EQA programme of the ECAT is accredited according to the international standard ISO/IEC 17043:2010.
The accredited status was provided by the Dutch Accreditation Council (RvA) under the registration number R018.
The Dutch Accreditation Council is by law appointed as the national accreditation body for The Netherlands.
The accreditation is based on assessment against the requiremensts as laid down in the international standard ISO/IEC 17043:2010 (General requirements for proficiency testing). The ECAT has demonstrated to be able to organize external quality assessment in a competent manner and cover the activities as mentioned in the scope of the accreditation.
